About my role: Reporting Operations and Process ConsultantI provide effective project management for the Group reporting processes including supporting the document production for the Annual report and accounts and Half year results. • Support the production of the Annual report and accounts and Half year results document, including liaising with other departments and third parties to compile the draft and final documents, before they are published externally • Deliver timely production of high quality, fit for purpose reporting agreements for the external reporting process • Own the process for ensuring end to end fit for purpose reporting unit financial reporting timelines, incorporating pre period end planning, tracking and reporting of reporting units submission status, capture of risks to delivery, lessons learned and communication and escalation where appropriate to senior management • Drive input on continuous improvement for Group reporting processes • Own communication of Group financial reporting processes across finance • Effective project/change management on range Group Reporting activity • Provision of process management expertise to teams across Group Reporting as part of wider projects • Recommendations made to senior management to continually improve processes to maximise efficiency, improve the control environment and control costs
