About Marian Sabety
Marian is passionate about helping new ventures become successful, by advising and as an active investor. Marian chairs Argus Enterprises, a company providing compliance enabling SW to co\'s mag parts for the Nuclear Submarine Industry. She is also Chair of Targeted BioSciences, providing patented anti-cancer testing for personalized therapy. Marian is chair of a sports-media network. Marian launched a VoIP calling service that enabled free-calling for private on-net subscribers. With $2M in venture funding, the company launched 18 months before Skype was introduced. Marian also raised $3M in venture funding for Wyndstorm, which offered online social IPTV streaming, pay-per-view sports/entertainment events, interactive gaming, 3-D virtual entertainment, white-label social networks, and experiential social marketing. The common thread throughout her career, has been managing cross-functional teams to create new business ventures, through R&D commercialization. Some of the initiatives she conceived and led have included the first international remote radiology analysis/transcription outsourcing; the first airborne antenna-based wireless service; the first dynamic customer value scoring system; the first voice-command telephony commercial deployment (\"call home, call mom.\").
