I’m a soon-to-be graduate in Perinatal Psychology from Madras School of Social Work with a deep passion for supporting new mothers and families through the emotional journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I recently completed a research study on “Balancing Tradition and Science: How Cultural Norms Shape Perinatal Mental Health and Lactation” which helped me explore how powerful family support and cultural care can be in a mother\'s mental and breastfeeding experience. I’ve also applied for training as a Breastfeeding & IYCF Counsellor (August 2025), and my dream is to work closely with mothers and babies, offering warm, culturally sensitive care that blends tradition with psychological support.
