Plans and creates test systems to support Research and Development projects to accomplish long-range objectives• Assist in the development of strategic test and measurement roadmaps; creates innovative measurement systems and new characterization techniques• Support millimeter / microwave integrated circuits designers (MMICs, PA, LNA, FEM, RF SW) and development teams to advance emerging technologies resulting in new product / business opportunities for WLAN - 802.11, Bluetooth - 802.15.1, Zigbee - 802.15.4 and Wi-SUN Test for IoT applications• Serve as a resource to designers and researchers, acts as a mentor to new test engineers and is a key spokesperson on test and measurement issues• Plann and coordinate the measurement and characterization of next generation microwave and millimeter wave semiconductor devices and circuits in GaN, GaAs, and Silicon technologies• Develop test systems, calibration methods, and test procedures.• Creation of Test and Database scripting• Set up lab in an efficient manner to improve test cycle time• Code, Set up, Debug and Conduct RF Automated Testing, hardware (GPIB and PXI) and software (LabVIEW and C programming)• Generate, Publish and Present Product Validation Reports to Marketing and Design Engineering• Train staff on measurements and calibration• Thorough understanding of RF techniques and measurements (DC, IP3, IP2, P1dB, Gain, Raise/Fall Transition times, Stability, Rugedness, S-Parameters, AM to AM, AM to PM, EVM, Transient Gain, DPD, Envelop Tracking, Dynamic EVM) over tempearture, over voltage, over frequency• Thorough understanding of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Sources, Vector Network Analyser, DMM, Power Supplies, etc)
