About Marian Chichester

As an Associate Media Planning at UM Worldwide, I contribute to the development and execution of effective and innovative media strategies our client. I work with a team of media professionals to creating RFPs, flowcharts, media plans and reports on client campaign performance. I have a strong background in digital marketing, thanks to my education and experience. I graduated from York College of the City University of New York with a BA in Psychology and a second major in Sociology, which gave me a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and social dynamics. I also completed a COOP apprenticeship, where I learned about SEO, SEM, paid social, paid search, and KPIs. Additionally, I was a Digital Marketing Captain at COOP and a Paid Media Coordinator of Client Strategy and Service at January Digital, where I applied my skills to support various marketing projects and initiatives. My interests outside my career are photography, videography, storytelling, documentary, culture, and inclusivity. I am passionate about creating and sharing content that reflects diverse perspectives and voices, and that engages and connects with audiences. I am eager to work with advertising and marketing agencies, non-profit organizations, and brands that are focused on culture and representation in the media.
