As a Software Engineer, I specialize in developing payment transaction applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway. I design scalable database architectures in PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and seamless integration with APIs for both card-present and card-not-present payment processing. Currently, I serve as the project lead for the Indigo Payments platform. My responsibilities include planning and managing project deliverables, collaborating with external teams to manage external API integrations, and ensuring that the team meets its milestones.    Project lead for the development of Kite’s (formerly known as Indigo Tech) Payments transaction processing application, coordinating with internal teams (product, engineering) and external vendors. Manage project timelines, define future work, and oversee the team backlog.• Design and implement scalable database architecture in PostgreSQL to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Develop data models, table structures, triggers, functions, and queries while maintaining thorough documentation of database design and implementation.• Leverage AWS services, including Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, API Gateway, to build robust and scalable data processing solutions.• Develop APIs for end-to-end payment processing, supporting card-present and card-not-present transactions, credit memos, refunds, voids, cancellations, and integrations with money movement platforms for bank account verification and transfers.• Lead end-to-end implementation of Payments features, gathering requirements from cross-functional teams, defining and implementing FastAPI API endpoints, creating YAML documentation, and developing backend CRUD operations using Python and PostgreSQL.Highlighted Projects• End-to-End Customer Payment Method Conversion Pipeline: Developed a high-volume data customer and payment data conversion script, processing records per client per conversion. Integrated SQL-based transformations and S3 storage to prepare data for ingestion into the Core application.
