ABOUT MARIA MENSCH
As Stephen King once said, “The brain is a muscle that can move the world”. I am a Neuroscientist with 7+ years of research and laboratory experience. Throughout my career, I developed my skill set to help me investigate the mechanisms and processes of the brain. From utilizing molecular techniques in the study of protein expression to designing and conducting behavioral studies, I pride myself on my organization, critical thinking, and communication skills. I am capable of planning and conducting large scale experiments independently and have worked in international teams in France, Australia, and Germany. The opportunity to present my research to an auditorium at the APDP meeting, Lisbon 2019 is one of the highlights of my career and I am especially passionate about communicating complex and nuanced concepts to scientists and lay-people alike.
