Greetings! My name is Maria Guadalupe Mendoza and I am an aspiring Undergraduate Student at the University of California, Irvine to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental, Planning, and Policy B. A. and Double Major in Criminology, Law, and Society B.A. with a specialization in (GIS). Under the School of Physical Sciences.My career prospects include being a future member of the United Nations Task Force (Headquarters) in the environmental sector (UNEP) and participating in UCI MUN while attending my undergraduate university. Before graduating I hope to do research and secure a job.I intend to also receive a Master\'s in International Relations and potentially continue to pursue a Ph.D. in a similar area of study. I\'m a first-generation Latina student raised in the eastern Coachella Valley which is a community populated by mostly immigrant agricultural workers, Hispanic-dominated, and indigenous communities. Being raised in a community with environmental disparities motivated me to join a Leadership Program called Pueblo Unido Community Development Corporation, in this program we participated in helping the community know the resources available to them by creating ways in which the community participates and their resources. The leadership program consisted of weekly meetings in which important board topics were being discussed such as the potable water and unaffordable housing crisis.    Dispatching and surveillance system navigation tracking using Oculus & Camio in Newport Beach (location unspecified)- Has been able to document and record different incidents, events, and crimes (e.g, such as grand theft, petty theft, parking violations) while using penal codes and 10 codes, aiding prevention of incident occurrences, and also helping keep tenants safe- Works closely through dispatch with the Newport Beach Police Department and Newport Beach Fire Department, helping share cases along with footage, helping Irvine Company Co. clients, and keeping the property\'s guests safe through crime prevention.
