Driven by my passion for social justice, equity, and empowering marginalized communities, I am committed to becoming a catalyst for meaningful change in my field. My goal is to amplify the voices of those often unheard by shedding light on stories that are too frequently silenced. Through my reporting, I have worked and will continue to work toward creating spaces where these narratives can thrive and inspire action. Pursuing a dual degree in journalism and public policy will equip me with the tools needed to effectively report on diverse communities and advocate for their stories with depth and integrity that they deserve.

1. Policy and Prevention Intern

   Ohio Domestic Violence Network

   Oct 2025 — Present · Columbus, OH, US

   In this role, I conduct policy research and legislative tracking on federal, state, and local issues affecting domestic violence in Ohio, providing timely analysis and impact assessments to inform advocacy strategy and legislative testimony. I also collect, manage, and analyze statewide data across 88 counties on domestic violence fatalities and coalition programs, developing centralized databases, policy briefs, and visual data tools to support cross-organizational collaboration, stakeholder education, and public awareness initiatives.
