Lead cross-sector regulatory system reviews evaluating whether regulatory regimes are effective, proportionate and achieving intended outcomes.Analyse regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations, governance arrangements and operational practices across sectors to identify system risks, regulatory gaps and opportunities for reform.Engage regulators, government agencies, industry bodies and regulated entities through consultation, workshops and interviews to assess regulatory oversight capability and system performance.Provide strategic regulatory advice and ministerial briefings on regulatory performance and reform priorities, including recommendations to amend, replace or remove regulation where appropriate.Provided regulatory system insights used to inform ministerial decision-making and strengthen regulatory stewardship across sectors.Currently leading a project on the analysis of New Zealand’s regulatory landscape and a multi-sector review of the product labelling regulatory system, including exploration of digital labelling enablement.Designed and implemented the Regulatory Reviews Delivery Framework
