About Mariam Raheem

I use data to build bridges between evidence, innovation, and action. I’m passionate about creating solutions that expand access to education, empower women and youth, and strengthen communities’ resilience to climate change. Over the past five years, I have worked on large-scale education and literacy programs, led data-driven research in Pakistan, and collaborated with diverse teams to turn complex information into practical tools that make a difference.As a University of Chicago graduate, I studied how data, technology, and policy intersect to tackle social challenges. Currently, I work with nonprofit teams to analyze and communicate data in ways that inform decisions and empower communities. Specifically, I analyze public education and program data to help families navigate school systems, track learning outcomes, and identify opportunities for intervention. I also support efforts to evaluate safe water programs, translating monitoring and evaluation data into actionable insights that strengthen program impact.At the core of my work is the belief that real change comes from working with people, not for them.
