About Mariam Hamza
A health economist with six years of experience working with different countries across the MENA, Africa, and East Asia regions on different health economics work streams focusing on health financing and human resources for health. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics focusing on human resources for health production and distribution in Egypt. I am very much interested in merging quantitative and qualitative research, including ethnographic research. My research utilizes a variety of methodologies including discrete choice experiments as well as quasi-experimental methods including difference-in-difference and regression discontinuity design.
