As a Bank Clinical Pharmacist, I’m responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across the hospital by screening in-patient Kardexes and discharge (TTO) medications to optimise therapy and ensure clinical accuracy whilst collaborating closely with my pharmacy team and the wider multidisciplinary team. Welcome :)Currently placed within the private healthcare sector, involved in addressing patient enquiries and treating patients through clinical collaboration, with a particular focus on weight management. As part of a well-established clinical team, I am committed to delivering kind and evidence-based care. I have completed my Independent Prescribing course, working closely with my supervisor under protocols to optimise patient outcomes and support the initiation of various therapies through acute prescribing.In my recent role as a Bank Clinical Pharmacist at Circle Health Group, I contribute to maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical practice by counselling and advising patients on post operative medication therapy.I have a passion for learning and maximising pharmacy student experiences. Being the West Scotland RPS regional ambassador allows me the valuable opportunity to encourage discussions and local networking, and act as a bridge between RPS and our members.
