ABOUT MARIA LUCIA SANTIAGO

With over 13 years of work experience in the confectionery industry, I am a passionate and driven General Manager at ROYCE\' Confections USA, the American subsidiary of the Japanese chocolate brand. I have a strong background in finance and accounting, which enables me to oversee the financial operations and performance of the company. I also have a certification in Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) from the FDA, which demonstrates my commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of our products. My mission is to share the joy and elegance of ROYCE\' Chocolate with the American consumers, and to build a loyal and diverse customer base through social networking and word-of-mouth marketing. I value innovation, excellence, sustainability, and teamwork, and I strive to create a positive and inclusive work culture that empowers and supports my staff. As the General Manager of ROYCE\' Confections USA, I am responsible for managing the overall operations and strategy of the company, including sales, marketing, distribution, inventory, and customer service. I work closely with the headquarters in Japan, as well as the regional managers and store managers across the US, to ensure alignment and coordination of our goals and activities. I also partner with various stakeholders, such as suppliers, distributors, media, and community organizations, to expand our network and enhance our brand awareness and reputation. Under my leadership, ROYCE\' Confections USA has achieved significant growth and profitability, as well as multiple awards and recognitions for our products and services. I have also implemented several initiatives to improve our internal processes, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and social responsibility.
