Innovative biologist and accomplished R&D leader with 25 years of research experience, including 12 years in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.Successfully led multiple oncology/immuno-oncology therapeutic programs from inception/discovery, through clinical candidate nomination, preclinical development, IND clearance, and into first-in-human studies. Established research programs to extend drug life cycle across indications, within oncology and beyond. Provided biology expertise and devised strategies for indication selection. Designed/implemented biomarker studies to characterize drug activity and enable patient segmentation in early clinical development. Performed due diligence of external science and established biotech-pharma partnerships.
