ABOUT MARIA JIMENEZ
Maria Jimenez is a senior and first-generation student studying Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at University of California, Riverside. She currently serves as President of ALPFA UCR, where she empowers fellow Latino students who share similar stories of resilience and ambition. She also serves as Outreach Chair for ASUCR’s Transfer Committee, helping create a stronger sense of community among transfer students.Maria recently completed an internship with Andersen on their Private Accounting Solutions (PAS) team, where she developed strong technical accounting skills and gained valuable hands-on experience in financial reporting. Committed to earning her CPA, she is on track to sit for the CPA Exam in December 2026.Beyond accounting, Maria brings a diverse professional background across industries including Real Estate, Nonprofit, Fashion, Sports, Food, Beauty, and Supply Chain Operations.Maria is dedicated to reshaping the narrative for first-generation professionals.
