About Mariah King
I’m motivated by what happens when care becomes collective. When communities show up for children, everyone gains energy, connection, and purpose. I’m especially interested in how culture, policy, faith, and education influence the way we raise children and how these conversations can bring people together.Parenting isn’t a contribution to one household, it’s a contribution to the community we all share. Childcare gets stronger when we focus on building instead of critiquing, working together instead of isolating, and treating care as something we all take part in. My experience in education, public service, and child-centered work has shaped how I understand the challenges families face and the systems we need to rethink. With a background in Science, Computational Engineering, and Curriculum Development, I focus on creating practical, human-centered solutions that move us away from outdated narratives and toward models that actually fit real life.
