ABOUT MARÍA GABRIELA NANFARA

With a BBA/MBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas (TX), I am equipped with a solid understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical skills. I am currently pursuing CPA licensure, demonstrating dedication to professional growth. My internships at PwC provided valuable hands-on experience in auditing and tax. As a Private Company Services (PCS) Audit Intern, I contributed to private company audits, and as a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Intern, I specialized in tax research and report drafting. As an IFS Start Intern, I gained insights into client-facing accounting roles. As the Accounting Society President at the University of St. Thomas (TX), I organized monthly networking events that connected students with leading accounting firms in the Houston area, facilitating valuable professional relationships and career opportunities. Additionally, I effectively delegated tasks among club officers, ensuring each member\'s strengths were utilized while fostering a team-oriented environment conducive to achieving our collective goals. As a Graduate Assistant at the Cameron School of Business (CSB), I\'ve honed a versatile skill set through various responsibilities. From degree coaching fellow students to managing social media platforms and collaborating to foster CSB programs, I actively contributed to the advancement of CSB\'s goals. Through these experiences, I\'ve developed strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities essential for academic and professional success.
