WORK HISTORY
Research and Development Engineer Intern @Parker Hannifin
Woburn, MA, US
Developed and optimized electroless plating processes for silver-coated glass fibers and dendritic copperPioneered a novel Ag/Cu filled silicone Form-In-Place (FIP) dispensable gasket material capable of providing > 70 db EMI shielding for future Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS). Achievements: • Achieved significant material property enhancements in extruded silicone elastomers through an innovative electroless plating process for silver on glass fibers, resulting in in annual cost savings and generating over $5 million in annual revenue for Chomerics when applied to healthcare security bracelets. • Drove the commercialization of the Ag/Cu electroless plating process, enabling the launch of a new FIP product line expected to generate over $1.5 million in annual revenue in the North American ADAS market. Demonstrated skills: • Data analysis and interpretation: Analytical Equipment (SEM, EDS, BET, XRD, ICP OES, TGA, TMA, FTIR, Rheometer, Particle Size Analyzer, and Color Spectrometry) and various physical test measurements, including hardness testing (Shore-A), Tensile & Compression Testing, and Dielectric Constant & Dissipation Factor (Loss Tangent). • Delivery of weekly detailed technical presentations on R&D updates to an audience of over 30 non-technical team members. • Adaptability in role changes and resource capacity to take on new responsibilities. Recognition: • Selected for Parker Hannifin’s Leadership Development Associate program upon graduation.
