Senior international sustainability specialist with 15 years of experience advancing low-carbon and climate resilient financing for development across Asia and Africa. Maria\'s experience includes work as a Climate Change Specialist with the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) and World Bank, Climate Partnerships Manager with UNICEF, and Senior Climate Change Consultant with IFAD and the NDC Partnership. She has a demonstrated ability to collaborate with country teams and technical experts to prepare strategic, analytical, and project documents and to engage with private and public stakeholders on a wide range of development priorities, including renewable energy, sustainable landscapes, agriculture, ecotourism, and circular economy.
