Test Automation: • Drove the design and development of the new framework using Java, TestNG, Maven, Cucumber from ground up. • Established and managed the development process: weekly meetings, code review, project documentation, requirement management, task tracking, failures triage, etc. • Implemented and maintained multiple standalone automated Python scripts for data analysis and correlation studies (using Pandas library). Other Testing: • Partnered with cross functional teams to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies and tight deadlines, being a bridge between the lab and development team, answering questions from both sides. • Led new project releases validation (efforts estimation, risk assessment, intensive testing, Software Requirement Specification, Software Test Procedure, Software Test Report). • Established and was deeply involved in all types of testing: functional, regression, e2e, integration, post-production, following industry best practices. • Validated back-end REST APIs using Postman. • Validated Sequencing Database Unification (SDU) algorithms involving complicated logarithmic calculations and rules. • Tested Laboratory Management Software (STARLIMS) for various workflows, including 3rd party components integration (WebPortal, CarePortal, Salesforce, TransChart). • Created and maintained various guidelines and manuals (Product workflows, SQA tools, Data Base queries library, initial project set up etc.) to speed up onboarding and retain the existing knowledge.
