About Maria Spinicci
I have concentrated the bulk of my paralegal career in domestic relations (family) law. My empathy and passion for family law allows me to best assist the attorneys to help our clients navigate one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult, times in their life. Seventeen years of my 25+-year paralegal career has been dedicated to the field of domestic relations and family law and I believe this has provided me with the knowledge base and emotional tools to assist both the attorneys and our clients through divorce, custody and/or support matters. Because of this expertise, I have had the opportunity and pleasure of having mentored other paralegals, legal assistants, law clerks, and first year attorneys to ensure that they succeed in their positions as respected individuals in the legal community. I have also had the distinct pleasure in working for the best legal minds in the industry.I have also worked in other various areas of litigation, including bankruptcy, insurance defense, personal injury, medical/dental malpractice, construction, municipalities, and contracts. I have also coordinated real estate transactions as well as prepared and reviewed title commitments. Additionally, I have experience in simple estate planning. I specialize primarily in litigation - trial preparation and appellate work. My experience also includes administration of benefits and payroll, as well as managing commercial property. I am a member of the Paralegal Division of the Texas State Bar, the Williamson County Bar Association, and the National Hispanic Bar Association.I am also a founding member of a book club - Metaphorically Speaking in Upstate New York. I also recently joined a local wellness and community group for busy mamas as a founding member - Mama Wears Pants.
