ABOUT MARIA SPACCINI
I am a hardworking and ambitious comparative law student, with great interest in politics and international relations.Throughout my academic career, I had the opportunity to focus on human rights protection, specifically on refugee and migration law, also thanks to extra-curricular activities and projects. I consider myself to be an active listener with proper communication skills. The value of compromise is crucial to me: I had many occasions to put my negotiation skills into practice, during, for example, the various simulations of international events I took part in. I am adaptable and suitable both for team-working and individual duties. I have a keen sense for details and great organisational skills, which mainly developed through my experience as students’ representative during all five high-school years. I strongly believe that critical thinking and emotional intelligence are the most relevant skills I possess.Empathy is an essential quality to me: I have the possibility to express this innate value during my activities as volunteer.
