ABOUT MARIA RUBERU WIEMANN

When I was 3, I wanted to be a lawyer. I was told that the study of law was not for women, but my most significant strength is being a woman. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, I have used my strengths to listen and truly see the people in my life, utilizing empathy to understand, hear, and nurture the dreams of others. I encourage them to focus on reaching their goals by strategically planning the steps to make their dream a reality. Importantly, I collaborate with others so everyone’s strengths, talents, determination, and efforts are utilized to create success. Everyone has a successful outcome when women apply these skills in a company. As an empathetic leader, I focus on listening to the people I report to and the people I lead. When I hear their goals and see their visions, I apply my legal skills and experience to support the company in turning dreams and ideas into reality. When I sit at the table, I collaborate with leaders and employees to develop strategies for success and growth. In my roles as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer, I have used my desire to be an empathetic leader, proactive legal strategist, and collaborative business partner to bring about growth and success for the whole company.
