I am a member of Commercial Legal, Worldwide Contracts team at Apple. The role includes primary responsibility for contracts review and analysis, detailed proofreading, refining sales agreements, and responding to a broad range of requests for contract development. I collaborate closely with legal counsel, cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to develop, update and support the negotiation of commercial sales contracts across several routes-to-market, including Reseller, Distributor and Education. Key Skills & Responsibilities-Support Apple’s sales and finance teams for major US resellers and distributors of Apple products-Facilitate legal and finance review of contracts and programs-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Litigation, Privacy, Compliance, Tax, Export and Corporate legal) on review of high-risk provisions and mitigation of risk-Review, draft and negotiate high-value commercial sales agreements-Develop and implement standard contract templates that improve operational efficiency-Develop pilot programs and draft pilot agreements (store fixtures and store enhancement programs, trade-in and recycling initiatives)-Prepare a high volume of term sheets and incentive programs for various Apple products-Support global consumer, enterprise, education, government agreements-Utilize contract lifecycle management tool Icertis and Ascent-Salesforce platform to streamline and optimize workflows-Conduct testing of CLM and other automation tools in collaboration with finance and technical teams-Project management of reseller programs, including presenting on project objectives, timelines, milestones and updates-Ensure compliance with various local, state and federal requirements-Review representations and certifications requested by government agencies-Conduct training and presentations for new team members of the Worldwide Contracts team-Review and prepare NDAs, supporting global Apple operations.
