ABOUT MARIA NIKOLOPOULOU

Maria Nikolopoulou is the Founder and CEO of Internect Forums Limited. She founded the company in 2014 (operating from 20••••19 as Internect Ltd.) to fulfill her long-held vision of effectively supporting globally acting automotive companies in their most strategic business development task of establishing and nurturing their international networks. With an international background and excellent communication skills, she first entered the conference business in 2009 as a professional conference interpreter. Her work experience varies from journalism in the fields of politics, science, culture and sports, to conference interpreting, conference production and project management. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from the University of Leeds, UK, and a B.A in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Prior to founding Internect, on behalf of an American conference production firm in Berlin, Maria co-operated with senior executives from the world’s leading corporations and research institutes with a focus in automotive engineering. Since 2014, her company, Internect Forums Limited has produced a portfolio of over 15 successful international automotive events in Europe and the USA.
