ABOUT MARIA MOBLEY

Maria Mobley is a recent graduate of the Lawrence Herbert School of Communications at Hofstra University. She majored in Public Relations with a minor in Creative Writing.Through her collegiate experience, she was involved in several extracurriculars including the Student Government Association where she served as the Service Coordinator then the Equity and Inclusion Chairperson, Zeta Phi Eta Pre-professional Communications Fraternity where she served as the Philanthropy Chairperson then the Secretary, and the Public Relations Student Society of America. During her time at Hofstra, she introduced mandatory service for Student Government members, created the Black Healing Space for Black students struggling with mental health issues, and collaborated with a third-party non-profit called \"Art with Impact\" to bring their program \"Movies for Mental Health\" to campus for all students to participate in.During her 3rd year of university, she began her media career when she interned at Midori Linea where she incorporated her knowledge of graphic design, social media, marketing, and administration to assist with brand campaigns for New York Fashion Week. She also produced a behind-the-scenes Youtube series for the brand. Due to her dependable and dedicated work ethic, Maria was asked back to freelance for Midori Linea where she acted as the creative director for the Midori Linea New York Fashion week brand campaign the following season. She also spearheaded their Black Lives Matter social media campaign developing language that would be used for their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. Currently, Maria is continuing her media career at ID PR, the largest independently owned full-service communications agency in entertainment, as a Brands Assistant.
