Assist in our early childhood classrooms. We have 3 classrooms with children ages 2-5 and use a play-based developmentally appropriate curriculum. Teacher Aids have a variety of classroom responsibilities include engaging and supervising children ages 2-5, supporting the Lead and Assistant Teachers, completing classroom tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing materials, setting up for meals and nap time, and supporting during transitions.Teacher Aids need to be able to follow instructions of their teaching team, learn our approach, manage their time with tasks to complete, and be able to engage in fun play.In addition to daily responsibilities, interns will complete a project that meets the requirements of their internship and interests which may include additional interviews, observations, or research into their intended application of learned techniques or applicability to future job responsibilities.
