ABOUT MARIA LEWIS
As a specialist Parkinson’s Physiotherapist and Chair of the Welsh Board of Chartered Physiotherapy, I’m a passionate clinician, educator, and advocate for one vital, evidence-based truth: exercise is medicine. In 2016, I co-founded Reach Your Peak – an online exercise platform for people with Parkinson’s. We empower our clients to be their own expert by exercising at home and engaging with our physio-led online community. My role as a co-director of Adaptive Fitness Training fuels this mission. We train enthusiastic exercise professionals to become specialists in exercise for neurological conditions, creating a directory of face-to-face trainers across the UK.
