ABOUT MARIA LAURA LOPEZ BELLOTTO
To deliver the best possible outcome within any opportunity, I’m always prepared to cooperate, organize and improve. Driven by positive change, I’m inspired by new ideas that embrace the principles of kindness and diversity. Being exposed to new and multicultural environments when I was moving from Venezuela to the USA, really opened my eyes to quickly adapt, having left the place I was born at a young age taught me to see every challenge as an opportunity to grow. I then pursued my Bachelors in International Business for 5yrs in my fathers home country, Colombia, during this time I explored my roots and experienced how kindness and respect will always lead you to better responses from others. Inspired by the amounts of growth I experienced from living in foreign places, I learned Portuguese and travelled to Brazil in order to understand their culture and language. Motivated by these multicultural experiences, I volunteered as a Business Advisor in ColombiaModa Fashion Fair, where I was able to create and establish connections across multiple borders. This logistical experience drove me into my next adventure as an Export Specialist in Miami, connecting the United States and Guatemala. As I was looking to dive into the Fashion industry, I came across the amazing opportunities that existed within digital environments. As a Digital Project Manager for international clients, I refined my leadership skills whilst coordinating multiple teams. In order to organize, prioritize and execute any project, a team must reflect commitment, gratitude and integrity to achieve better results. After having experienced 5 years of growth within Logistic Operations, Business Support, and Digital Project management across a diverse number of cultures, I moved to Italy in order to explore my mothers roots and pursue my passion within Fashion. In 2020, I started my Masters in Fashion, Experience and Design Management at SDA Bocconi, a year full of twists and radical change was difficult for everyone, but it also became a window of opportunity for collective transition.
