Maria Kordopitoulas-Sarris is an Assistant Vice President and Project Manager at Bank of America, currently serving as the Workforce Development (WFD) Operations Project Manager focused on Career Readiness. Since joining the bank in 2012, Maria has brought over 25 years of financial services experience, consistently demonstrating her ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization to deliver impactful training and strategic initiatives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.In her current role, Maria leads the delivery and oversight of career readiness programs for external learners, ensuring alignment with WFD strategy and maintaining high-quality, approved educational content. She supports and engages a network of Ambassadors, facilitates critical workshops, and drives the development and deployment of Leader Guides to scale content delivery. Her work deepens relationships with local and national partners, helping job seekers build durable skills and become more employment-ready.Maria is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, serving as Co-Chair of D&I for the Charlotte BACCV and actively participating in multiple Employee Networks.
