About Maria Hartman-Hernandez

With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, I am a passionate and dedicated education leader who strives to improve student outcomes and teacher performance. Currently I oversee academic programs and compliance for over students and 50 teachers across 4 schools. As an Education Manager at San Bruno Park School District, I oversaw the academic programs and curriculum development for grades 6-8. I partnered with principals, and teachers, to implement assessments, and interventions that aligned with the district\'s vision and goals. I also facilitated teacher training. Previously, I worked as an Education Manager at Milpitas Unified School District, where I managed education services and professional development for grades K-6. I contributed to the improvement of student achievement, teacher retention, and parent engagement by developing and implementing innovative and inclusive educational programs and practices. I have a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from National University, and a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University. I have strong skills in educational leadership, teacher training, and tutoring, as well as a deep understanding of the diverse needs and challenges of students and teachers in different settings. I am motivated by the mission of providing quality and equitable education for all students, and I seek to join a team that shares this vision and values.
