ABOUT MARIA GONZALEZ BOCANEGRA

As a Global Account Manager in the IoT segment at NXP Semiconductors, I leverage my dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Georgia Southern University to identify and capitalize on design opportunities, driving projects to revenue. I have a strong technical background and a comprehensive understanding of hardware and software, which enables me to deliver superior end products to customers. I also have a keen awareness of the competitive dynamics and industry players in the IoT market, and I utilize NXP\'s differentiated capabilities to gain a competitive edge.In my current role, I collaborate with engineering, marketing, and supply chain teams to close designs and launch projects. I have also contributed to the research and development of computer vision techniques for natural-disaster damage recognition and non-destructive testing of materials as an undergraduate research assistant at Georgia Southern University. I am passionate about solving real-world problems with innovative and sustainable solutions. I am motivated by the opportunity to work with diverse and talented teams, and I bring a global perspective and a bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to the table.
