My academic work within the humanitarian-development nexus focuses primarily on the socioeconomic lives of refugees and those hosting them in East Africa (at Oxford). In my PhD at NMBU, I study food systems in refugee-hosting contexts in the same region. I am part of a wider project team (Ecofood) and funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
