ABOUT MARIA CHIARA METALLO
As a Manager - Air Quality at Ramboll, I apply my 30 years of experience and expertise in all aspects of air quality programs to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients across various sectors and regions. I have a strong track record of leading and managing complex projects, developing and implementing strategic plans, and providing training and support to internal and external stakeholders.My career spanned from research role to technical director serving Italiana and Spanish public and private clients. Then I spent 10 years working as Senior Consultant and Manger in Singapore for international companies, being involved in business development, delivering of important environmental projects in South East Asia and Middle East. Back to Europe, I am currently leading national and international projects and developing the air quality business in my business unit.My mission is to advance the science and practice of air quality management and to contribute to the protection of human health and the environment. I am passionate about exploring and applying state-of-the-art approaches, such as air quality decision support systems, emission inventories, source apportionment, and meteorological and climate studies.
