As a Data Scientist with a deep-rooted passion for sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and biodiversity research, I bring an interdisciplinary approach to leveraging advanced geospatial and analytical tools for real-world impact. With a MSc in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Exeter and extensive academic qualifications in Biological Sciences, I have developed expertise in fields like data science, microbiology and ecology. My skill set includes: Advanced GIS technologies: Proficient in QGIS, Python and R based applications. Microbial ecology and plant research: Deep experience in plant pathogens and environmental adaptability studies. Spatial modeling and climate resilience: Developed models assessing climate change impacts on agriculture. Education and community leadership: Active in environmental education, ecotourism programs, and collaborative projects on sustainable development. Currently serving as Science Lead at Pelori, I drive initiatives that combine data science and geospatial intelligence to tackle some of the most critical sustainability challenges. At Pelori, an organization dedicated to leveraging AI-driven geospatial analytics for sustainable development, my work focuses on modeling agricultural systems under the stress of climate change, implementing cutting-edge conservation strategies through GIS and remote sensing, and using innovative tools to optimize resource use and improve outcomes. In addition to these efforts, I am committed to empowering professionals globally by providing specialized training in food security, sustainable agriculture, and environmental problem-solving. This training equips stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to apply AI and GIS solutions effectively, contributing to comprehensive strategies for combating climate change and advancing global sustainability goals.
