ABOUT MARGRET BELTRAN

Hello! I\'m Maggie, a passionate audio engineer with a proven track record in electronic music. With 10+ of experience, I specialize in audio engineering, as well as music business. Not only do I troubleshoot audio gear all day at Focusrite and produce music, I also have created and developed an artist brand Ghost in Real Life. Currently at Focusrite Group, I troubleshoot audio gear and help users get set up for recording. I specialize in live streaming and pro gear such as Rednet. Previously, I interned at recording studios and assisted engineers in preparing sessions for artists. Besides working at Focusrite, over the past three years, I have developed my brand Ghost in Real Life. G.I.R.L. is an EDM DJ project that works towards breaking barriers for women in music as well as creating hard-hitting bass music. The music style I create it a blend of punk styles and drum and bass. Known for my ability to find a solution to every problem, I thrive in areas that require new ideas for development. I\'m particularly passionate about women in music and technology. I hope to help create an industry that is more suitable for both women and men.
