ABOUT MARGOT SUYDAM

Mastering the art of content development from ideation to final product requires a full stack of editorial talents and skills: an analytical yet creative mind; a dogged determination to do the research, synthesize the results, and tell the story with style and attention to detail; and finally, a strong aptitude for multitasking while keeping a keen eye to producing a top-notch product and meeting final deadlines. In my extensive experience as a journalist, managing editor, senior writer and lead researcher, I have worked for magazine, book, and online media publishers, covering the media, information technology, healthcare, and architecture/engineering industries. I have authored, co-authored, and ghost-written numerous feature articles, blog posts, and full-length books on a wide variety of business topics. In addition, I have provided strategic content development and marketing services along with custom research for leading companies in these diverse markets, working closely with subject matter experts to help craft messages that establish them as knowledge leaders in their industry. Projects include managing a daily blog, creating data-intensive and actionable benchmarking reports, and producing email campaigns, newsletters, and white papers/ebooks. I am also a former educator with recent experience in managing the content development and production of a full line of e-learning courses. Content development across a wide variety of industries and delivery platforms has not only provided me with a breath of experiences and expertise that I can bring to any editorial management or content marketing position, but also fuels my passion for emerging technology, life-long learning, and community service.
