ABOUT ZSOFIA LEARY

I have a B.S.P.A. in Law and Public with a minor in Music from Indiana University Bloomington. My professional interests include human rights/advocacy law and constitutional law. I put these interests into practice during my undergrad years by serving as the President of Students for Equity in Public Affairs. I currently am pursuing an MPA to further my advocacy skillset. One day, I hope to work at the ACLU advocating for LGBTQIA+ and women\'s rights, or in academia, teaching the next generation about public affairs or sociology. A life-changing experience for me was my semester exchange at Universidad Carlos de Madrid during the Fall 2023 semester. I gained a deeper perspective and appreciation for other cultures, learned about a different legal system, and made life-long friends from all over the world. Some of my favorite hobbies include traveling around the world, singing, playing various musical instruments, including trumpet and ukulele, spending time with friends, trying unusual food, doing arts and crafts, and meeting new people.
