ABOUT MARG BROWNE

As a senior manager with 25 years claims handling experience, 12 of which were leading award winning high performing teams. With 25+ years progressive case management experience for disability and critical illness claims. I bring knowledge and experience in all aspects of these products 12 of these have been in a management role leading high performing teams, including the team that won the 2006 CLHIA Vision and Values award. I welcome an opportunity to partner with other industry leaders to give back the knowledge I have gained over the years. I excel at building excellent relationships with internal and external customers, clients and vendors. I understand what the clients need and have the ability to put processes in place to meet those needs while at the same time balancing the needs to ensure proper claim controls. HOW CAN I HELP YOU? I can coach and train people and bring their skills up an I can use my skills as a Subject Matter Expert in Disability and Critical Illness products to act as technical advisers on new products IN LITIGATED MATTERS. I have represented companies at a number of litigation venues including Examinations for Discoveries, Meditations and as a witness at trial. As a manager, I coached others to participate in these venues and have managed the reserves that accompany these cases. BEING ACTIVE IN MY INDUSTRY. I am the past chair of the claims conference for the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA) and the LOMA claims committee.
