As a graduate of UNC\'s Gillings School of Global Public Health, with a B.S.P.H. in Health Policy and Management and a B.A. in Economics, I work as a Health & Benefits Specialist, helping companies design employee benefits that prioritize public health principles by improving access and reducing costs. I\'m passionate about exploring and responding to the increasing number of challenges in healthcare, both domestically and internationally, specifically by leveraging the relationship between the public and private sectors. I’ve had experience working with grassroots non-profit organizations, privately-funded foundations, government agencies and private businesses in the U.S. and across East Africa focusing on health, development, conservation and sustainability.
