About Margarita Cordova
Hi there! I am a first-generation college student studying CS at Laney College. I am passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. Last spring, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting machine learning project at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. You can check out my work here: https://tinyurl.com/2024CCIPosterLast summer, I also had the opportunity to work on a web development project at BART. While there, I developed an internal multipage SharePoint website for BART\'s Mobility as a Service (MaaS) team. This SharePoint website featured extensive content including photos, videos, and slideshows. Both of these experiences have equipped me with valuable skills, a strong commitment to innovative tech solutions, and the ability to effectively collaborate within diverse teams.

With Latinx and African American workers each only comprising 8% of the tech workforce, their mission is to enhance the representation of these tech minorities.
