Event staff assists with setting up for events, maintaining order throughout, and cleaning up afterwards. These events vary from celebrations of life to festivals to concerts. I closely assisted my supervisor with concert preparation and hospitality for bands. Tasks can also include answering guests\' questions, directing parking lot traffic, and being available/flexible for miscellaneous jobs so the event goes smoothly.

Hi, my name is Margarita Arango! I am a senior at UIC, majoring in public policy and minoring in urban studies, history, and sociology. My main policy interests are food and agriculture, basic needs accessibility, and higher education.I serve as an ambassador for the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs; I am also President of the Student Advocacy Coalition at UIC! It\'s an honor to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a passion for advocating for ourselves and others. In my free time, I love to dance, especially ballet and cumbia. I also love to cook :)
