About Margaret Strotman
Unprecedented challenges are transforming the mortgage industry. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic continues to disrupt traditional operations processes. In addition, the ongoing challenges of market volatility, access to inventory, and rapidly evolving technology are fundamentally upending the sector. As a seasoned executive, I have spent my career on the front lines of the industry and am positioned for continued success. In my current role with Huntington National Bank, I pioneered a novel business strategy for the bank’s third-party lending operations channel, growing it from $639M to $4.2B. I also delivered $2.5B in growth in the firm’s residential lending operations channel. I introduced continuous improvement strategies across multiple business lines and optimized performance to yield a 10% increase in operational productivity, a 25% efficiency gain, and employee engagement scores of 89%. Above all, I strive to create a culture in which everyone is poised for success. By fostering an environment of honest and open communication, I’ve succeeded in leading matrix and virtual teams to excellence.
