AGU Advances was indexed early by Clarivate after 1.5 years of publication and received a debut Journal Impact Factor of 6.7 after 2.5 years of publication (now 8.4). Developed the Viewpoint article type for companion opinion commentary to accompany original research articles. Leading the launch of a non-traditional web platform for community science, which includes a new open-access journal, Community Science.
