I am extremely excited to continue exploring and contributing to the Health + Technology field in personal projects, organizations, and in research while maintaining ethical standards. I am also deeply passionate about uplifting underrepresented communities, and I’m honored to support this mission through my work and as a Break Through Tech Ambassador.Here is some more information about my experience:I am an AI System Developer at Ding Lab in the UCI School of Biomedical Engineering 🧬, where I am working on a multi-channel GUI that automates whole cell segmentation for biomedical researchers.I also serve as the Software Lead for CareTech, where I’m guiding the development of a vitamin-tracking app powered by real-time object detection to analyze meals to facilitate cognitive health. Last year, I also led the development of an AI-powered melanoma detection application. Last year, I also served as a Developer at Commit the Change, where I helped contribute to an invoice and event management application for the non-profit organization, La Peña, which focus on promoting Latinx, Caribbean, and Indigenous through cultural events.
