About Margaret A. Caster

Mrs. Caster graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Master of Science in Accounting and with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Margaret is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Margaret manages the firms Taxation Department as well as the Quality Review Program, which is the system of quality control for the auditing and accounting practice of the firm. She reviews and provides guidance for the firms audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements including opinions, reports and disclosures in accordance with technical standards as required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Margaret has a wide-range of taxation and accounting experience. She is knowledgeable in accounting and taxation for entities of varying sizes and complexity, including taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates and trusts. She is also experienced in accounting and reporting for nonprofit entities. Margaret is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Rhode Island Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners (RICFE). She has achieved the AICPA designation as Certified in Financial Forensics (CPA/CFF). Margaret has recently received the AICPA designation Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS) and is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CPA/CGMA).
