About Margaret Simonton

I’m a Junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a 3.8 GPA pursuing a B.S. in Marketing with a Marketing Analytics Concentration and a Psychology Minor. While at Fordham, I spent a semester at our London campus. I am seeking full-time roles in New York City after graduation. I am an active member of the Fordham community where I play for Fordham Women’s Club Lacrosse Team. I train with my teammates year round for 16+ competitions against other area universities, and was part of the teams that advanced to the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Organization National Championships in 2024 and 2025. I also serve on the Alumni Relations Committee of Fordham’s Marketing Association.I have had a number of transformative and immersive learning experiences where I have gained first hand knowledge of global geo-political, cultural and economic forces. In addition to spending a semester studying at Fordham’s London campus, I will spend a week in Rwanda delivering a grassroots model for entrepreneurship to students and leaders at Maranyundo Girls School. I also spent a semester working with a business in Senegal, analyzing their unique business challenges in order to provide a recommendation to improve their businesses which included a field study and meetings with the business owners and community leaders. My past internships and work experience have allowed me to apply my classroom business skills in the real world. As a Membership Development Intern for World 50, a private organization where c-suite business leaders can exchange ideas and evolve as a leader, I support new business development initiatives. I leveraged Salesforce.com to identify leads and performed industry research to qualify leads. I also worked on a team to create a stakeholder survey that was distributed to 25K+ community members and prospects to gain market insights and inform strategy and programming. I summarized the survey results in a 42-page deck for leadership. In my free time I give back to my community by volunteering for Bronx Lacrosse where I coach lacrosse and provide small group tutoring to middle-school student athletes at The High Bridge Green School.Within Fordham’s academics, I worked in long-term team settings conducting deep analysis for major presentations. In Gabelli’s Consulting Cup, my team developed a solution for Kohl’s to improve customer retention by strengthening loyalty program engagement and conversion. I also competed in the Ground Floor Challenge, creating Metaversity, a virtual STEM lab platform. You may contact me at m••••••••@fordham.edu
