As a hospice advocate my goal is to teach families what hospice can offer them and their families. I will take great care to address specific concerns and explain what the process of admitting to hospice will mean to patients. Studies show that 80% of Americans would prefer to die at home. Despite this, 60% of Americans die in acute care hospitals. 20% in nursing homes and only 20% at home. Always know your options when it comes to hospice. I can answer all of your questions.
