Researches stories, conducts general show preparation, interaction throughout the show.40% Produce Lifestyle Segments and work with clients through every step of the processResearches clients’ businesses to gain an understanding of goals and messaging.Writes scripts, submits script drafts to client ahead of recordings, makes requested changes/edits, schedules recordings, conducts interviews and coordinates the editing of lifestyle segments ensuring no deadlines are ever missed.Provides coaching, pre-recording run-throughs and advice for best possible on-air performance. 20% Coordinates between Lifestyle Show and other station departments, keeping all parties aware of recording times & dates, edit specifics, air dates and web copy-Provides calendar updates to account planner in sales department including segment titles/topics -Provides Creative Services department with weekly segment schedules. Also provides transcribed scripts with b-roll instructions and graphics information for editing purposes-Coordinates daily client recordings with engineers-Sends daily email to web team requesting the posting of 10am client segments and providing web copy-Participates in bi-weekly lifestyle calls with producers from other Meredith stations5% Serves as liaison between news and sales, while generating sales leads5% Conducts interviews and makes personal appearances on behalf of the station.
